Drawing Animals?

My last assignment for my drawing class was to draw the following story somehow: 

You're on Noah's space ark (in space...) and you hit a black hole and when you come out, all the animals are weird mutations- including yourself! Draw an animal in a full environment made of at least 4 animals. 

So . This is what I did. I played around with a more illustrative approach, rather than trying to make it look real- because that would be pretty freakin hard. 

 

I used grey paper. I've been in love with toned paper lately instead of plain ol' white.
