Update

It's been a while. As usual nowadays. Not really sure why my motivation with this has dropped off so much! I was doing so well. But hopefully it gets a renewed commitment from me for the summer. I have lots of plans and ideas for what I'm going to do this summer.
My number one goal is to get hired by Woods for the dream job thing (you may have seen it already in the papers!), which would let me travel across the country with Aj and get paid to do it while camping and making paintings and whatnot (and also blogging, don't worry). So you can cross your fingers for us cause we're going to apply!

Otherwise, I'll find other student type jobs in the city. I'm still at Supperworks, and I have applied to a Floral Designer's shop, and another pub. So we'll wait and see what happens!

I'm also planning on making a lot of paintings for my upcoming show at the Well. So stay tuned for those.

I have a few pictures for you now:

Our neighbour's apartment had a fire last weekend. It was crazy, tons of firemen, and we finally met all of our neighbours in a really strange circumstance. He let us see the apartment afterwards, and there were all these old posters behind the walls. Creepy & really cool.

For Easter we spent some time with Aj's family and mine. Here's me and my sisters jammed in the back seat with grandma.

Egg decorating! Nice. Haven't done that in a while.

We have a lava lamp now. It's kind of old, so it's a bit gross sometimes.

Most recent tat progress - all the green!

Most recent tiny painting. It had to be made up of only layers of the primaries (yellow, blue, red, and white). So that's what it is. I didn't mix any of the colours, and you can kind of tell so when my critique is over, I'll be painting over it with mixed colours. And that's for sure.

Otherwise, I'm going to be studying my butt off this week, and finishing up all my final projects. Year two is pretty much over and I'm glad. I really liked it a lot more than last year, but that's a post for another day.

Love you guys, and miss keeping in touch on here. Pinky swear I'll do it again soon with an update on final projects.

xoxo
